About

My name is Andrew Ruesga and I enjoy creating things that live on the internet. My interest in technology started at a very young age. I was always the go-to 'tech' guy in whatever role, at home, at work, or with friends. It turns out, I enjoy it as a career even more than a hobby!

After my time as an Air Force Medic, I decided to jump feet first into a web development bootcamp with one of the most prestigous schools, Fullstack Academy . There, I learned the best way I know how, by drinking water through a fire hose.

Shortly after graduation, out of the frying pan into the fire. I was hired on as the sole React developer to a small startup. There, I fell into the niche of bridging the gap between business intelligence and software development. I was able to take the business requirements and translate them into a working product.

Now, as a software developer in industry, I enjoy using my obsessive attention to detail, my unequivocal love for making things, and my mission-driven work ethic to literally change the world. That's why I’m excited to make a big impact at a high growth company.
